The first experience may bring a small amount of pain or discomfort so it is best to be prepared for this. Sanitize the area that the product will be used in with rubbing alcohol or sterile pads and set up the system, then shower and wash each area that will be treated.  The Derma Roller will be creating thousands of small channels directly into the skin so it is important to clean and sanitize before using to avoid contamination of skin cells.

Once the area to be treated and hands are damped with alcohol and allowed to air dry, an ice pack or numbing cream may be applied to the area to ease discomfort. Begin using the Dermaroller by stretching out the section of skin with one hand and rolling the Derma Roller with the other. The stretching will allow for better penetration. Roll in a pattern vertically and then horizontally to ensure that the entire area has been treated. If using a skin treatment such as cleansers or moisturizers, apply to the treated areas once rolling has been completed for full absorption of product.
